Nearest Book
This is one of those dumb blog games, but I'm always a sucker for dumb blog games. I got this one from Vita Absque Deus :
- Grab the nearest book.
- Open the book to page 123.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the sentence in your journal...along with these instructions.
- Don't search around and look for the "coolest" book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.
Here is mine:

Page 123 is a chapter summary page for the book "Access Developer's Handbook" and the 5th sentence is a bullet item: "Using the New ANSI-92 Extensions to Jet SQL". Haha. Well you asked for it and it looks like I have even less of a life. Yes that was the nearest book!

That is the closest book to me,pg 123,the 5th sentence....."Buried Memories" (the chilling true story of Betty Lou Beets,the Texas Black Widow)

OK, I'll play. I have been reading Gods and Generals, a novel by Jeff Shaara about the Civil War. On page 123, the 5th sentence is "The other man, smaller, felt the blood on his face, held his sleeve up against his nose, then said 'He called me a shit-kicker.'"

My page 123 fifth sentence was, 'Said my whole family was shit kickers. Ain't gonna take that from any man. Sir."' That was the closest book to me! Gods and Generals, it was called. I dont think I'll read this one...!
